I've just received an email from the Wasabi Team who have just launched their website for their universal Nintendo Wii Drive based modification chip. The specifications are impressive as it works on all DVD-ROM IC's including the DMS to the latest D1A.

Additionally, it only requires the use of 5-9 wires to get it up and running. Lastly, you should read the page as it has some new information pertaining to ISO dumps and how Nintendo can detect if a backup is being played or not.
