Är det någon som har erfarenhet av detta chip?
Fördelar? nackdelar? stabilt?

Jag har monterat ca. 80 st. Duo2 SE modchip i olika versioner av
PS2. Alla chip har fungerat utan problem.
En absolut fördel med detta chip att det är lätt och snabbt att montera.
Det är bara 17 lödningspunkter.

Jag kan inte nämna något nackdel. Det är naturligtvis inte lika avancerad chip
som DMS 4 eller Matrix Infinity men så mycket som det kostar...

Om man vill ha ett chip som är stabilt och lättmonterat för en liten peng...?

Det är "Team Omega" som har detta chip.

Ja, jag tycker att det är ett bra val.

Du kan spela import och backup utan problem.

Men du kan göra mycket annat än så.

Du kan starta DivX filmer, MP3 musik också.

FAQs

Can I play DivX and MP3 files using my PS2?
Yes, you can. It has been tested to be compatible with PS2 Mediaplayer 1.50. More information concerning the Mediaplayer can be found at the Links Section.

Why did you not include the Mediaplayer function as part of the modchip?
We did not believe that is as a good idea. PS2Reality specifically requested that they do not want to see their freeware used to sell other people products. (Mediaplayer is a freeware program.)

Can it play movies from other regions?
No, it can not. However, it will work fine with DVD Region X in disable mode. In addition, there are some problems related with the region free feature that people often do not realize. For example on the whole, NTSC PS2 can only play NTSC DVD even though you have unlocked the region-lock problem. In addition, it is always better to use a standalone multi region DVD player for DVD movies.

Is it compatible with HDLoader & HDAdvance?
It works fine with both HDLoader and HD advance when using a standard IDE hard disk.

"Ripper IV kan du inte lägga in bios på, dom kommer preflashed.
Ripper IV, Neo Bright och DOU 2 SE är samma chip i grund och botten.
Har testat DUO 2 SE på ett par maskiner och dom har funkat bra."
