Ny dvd-läsare till xboxen

Hej allesammans, såg på xbox-scene.com att detta nyss har släppts:

Eftersom dvdn kostar runt 170:- att köpa, och produkten ska kosta 20 euro, så är det rätt billigt för en dvd som kan läsa allt (DVD+R/DVD-R/DVD-RW/DVD+RW/CD-R/CD-RW)

Hansi, är detta något som ni kommer att plocka in?

"For now the 8164b modded drive will not play original game discs, only backups (CD-R/CD-RW/DVD-R/DVD+R) [backups/unsigned code will only run on a hard/soft modded Xbox of course]. We are working on a new firmware for the 8164b to launch original games even in an unmodded Xbox."


Innan dom fixat en fungerande firmware så är det där ju inte bättre än att sätta i vilken pcdrive som helst...

De har släppt en ny firmware som kan köra orginal på Xbox 1, däremot kom en bugg som gjorde att det inte går att rippa 360-spel med denna firmware. För mig spelar det ingen roll om man kan rippa 360-spel eftersom jag bara är ute efter en bättre läsare till min Xbox 1.

Så, när får vi se drive+chip i eran butik?

20/07/2006 First Bugs !!!

It seem like our last patch to add autodetection of normal/xbox1/xbox360 was very destructive and ruined the X360 game extraction part sorry for that!!!
We will fix it in a short while...

We have done it! The firmware to play original games on your modded LG-8164 is ready. Thanks to MrPresident for his coding effort we can now enjoy playing all media including original XBOX1 games.

Installation instructions

Step 1: Connect the LG-8164 to your PC.
Step 2: Run the flasher.
Step 3: Choose the appropriate drive.
Step 4: Click flashup and your done!
