Problem med switch - I speak little swedish.

Hello, please help me. I'm not new on computer so i need a expert on network to help me.

I have dynamic IP with 2 IP numbers from my Internet provider. When i connect the PC i get a IP number. I can use dyndns to translate it to a word. It does that with a software on my pc, for example pc.dyndns.org and it always update my ip number to that adress.

My x-box is also getting a new ip every time i start it. But i cant use dyndns to it, because i can't automatically uppdate it?

I manually write this every time my computer starts in the command prompt and i want to have a ".bat -file" that autostart this because i use a switch. (When i write this i get full speed X-box - PC)...

arp -d <xbox ip>

arp -s <xbox ip> <xbox mac adress>

How can i get the X-boxs IP number to my computer automatically? Is there any x-box software like dyndns that works on the xbox? Or any other way that solves my problem?

I want to use my switch and my network cable. It's 10 meter so it little expensive..

There is no dynip client software for the xbox.

The cheapest way for you is to buy:
an extra network card (maybe 150:-)

Go out and shuffle some snow in front of some neigbours garage for a couple of hours to get the money.
