Update failed!!!

Hej!
Fick fel på min xbox360 när jag skulle logga in på xbox live.
När konsolen skulle uppdateras så fick jag upp en ruta där det stog update failed. (och något mer minns inte längre vad det stog) Då försökte jag igen och då rätt som det var startade konsolen om och nu går det inte att göra något. Hela bilden är lila med texten:

Kommer alltså inte in i dashboard utan bilden är HELT lila och det går inte att trycka på några knappar bara att stänga av på av/på knappen. Samma sak om jag sätter i ett spel samma ruta kommer upp vad jag än gör när jag startar xbox:et uten eller med skiva.

Jag har ringt MS support och dom bad mig ladda ner uppdateringen på datorn och bränna på skiva och det prova jag hände inte något. Då skulle jag skicka in den sa dom. Men eftersom jag köpte den av en kompis billigt när han hade fått red ring of death så har jag öppnat den och modifierat lite så då går det ju inte. Skulle bara få betala frakt och rep kostnader och dom visste inte om det skulle funka.

Någon annan som fått detta fel som vet vad man kan göra? Går det att reseta/nolla konsolen på något sätt? Typ så den tappar minnet????

Clear Any Failed system updates that cause the console to error.

1. With the console off, press and hold the sync up button (the small white one)
2. While holding the sync button press the power button to turn on the console
3. Continue to hold the sync button until the Console has booted up completely.
4. During the boot process the console should clear any failed updates, allowing you to use it normally.

Är du säker på att du gjort rätt? Har läst om andra som haft samma problem och det har funkat när de gjort så här. Kom ihåg att du ska hålla i sync-knappen innan du sätter på xboxen.
